I really liked Brick. Great choice! Three reasons to watch imo: screenplay, Joseph Gordon-Levitt (sp?), and Meagan Good.

12 Angry Men is one of my top 10 films of all time. Possibly top 5 even. Good choice! :P The only film I can currently think of that I want to watch and have yet to is Die Hard 4.0.

Let it Be (Being a big Beatles fan, I am sad to say I haven't seen this hard to find movie)

Quadrophenia (Same as above)

The 8 Diagram Pole Fighter (Only source I have ever seen for this was $20)

Seven Samurai (Seems like I'm going to have to have an open day of no distractions on my big TV back home to fully appreciate this praised movie)

Blue Velvet (I loved Eraserhead and The Elephant Man so I got to see this)

I believe Paul McCartney and Ringo said that they dont want to see that one come out to the public while they are alive. If you look carefully in youtube, you might find a low quality version of it.

Hmmm... I suppose to some they might be. And it's not like we are trying to be pretentious. But why label a selection of films pretentious if you haven't even seen them yourself? That just seems a bit close-minded and pretentious in it's own way, imo.

I just found the movie on youtube. Too bad the quality is terrible. :( It must have been just uploaded because I remember searching for it and not finding it.
