[QUOTE="noswear"][QUOTE="Fire-of-Njozi"] you need to get up on that Little Brother, brah.Fire-of-NjoziJust Googled and listened to. They're really good, thanks for the reccomendation. no doubt. I strongly recommend their album 'Get Back'. It's one of the only albums that has not left my rotation in a solid year. Choice cuts: -Sirens -Good Clothes -ExtraHard -Step It Up -After The Party -Dreams -Everything is New ...and 'Life of The Party (Remix)...on the album "And Justus For All" on the Mick Boogie album. Going to an LB concert next week. It's probably my most anticipated event in a year. 8)
The Listening >>> Minstrel Show >>> Getback
"The Way You Do It" (off the Listening)
That's how I see it. And the Chittlin Circuit is easily their best mixtape, definitely better than And Justus For All w/ Mick Boogie and Separate But Equal w/ DJ Drama.
"What You Do" (off Chittlin Circuit)
Phonte's work with Nicolay, under the name Foreign Exchange, is very dope as well. Their first album Connected was amazing, and their second album released just last year Leave It All Behind was cool but Phonte sang almost all of it rather than rapping. Big Pooh's solo album Sleepers is dope too.
And I saw Big Pooh w/ Joe Scudda and Chaundon in concert the other month by the way, no Phonte though. Pooh was opening at the Murs concert I went too. Eventually I'mma hit up an LB concert when they come back my way though.

What has Jus Allah done to make you rank him so high? I thought he was miles better than Vinnie Paz (who is a horrible rapper) on Jedi Mind Tricks album Violent By Design, but then when Jus Allah released his solo debut All Fates Has Changed, that album turned out horrible. It makes me think that Jus Allah was more of a product of sounding good over Stoupe's amazing beats, and then was exposed as a mediocre rapper on All Fates Have Changed when he didn't have the luxury of falling back on Stoupe's amazing production.

Its more of a who I listen too sort of thing. My list would be different if it was purely skill, but I do not listen to anyone who would be on that list. Not saying you are completely wrong, and I think he is definitley not a great solo rapper. I like a lot of the stuff he has done with Bomshot though.[QUOTE="BiancaDK"]1: Wu-tang Clan (as a whole, not getting into who was the better rapper of em)Orlando_Magic

I really like Gangstarr, Notorious and Outkast as far as rappers and groups go...but:
No one's mentioned any female rappers yet. I just have to mention MC Lyte...she was great.

No the guy who killed Big L mistook him for his twin brother (wasn't actually trying to kill big l)... who later tried to exact revenge and got killed as well.
