Basically he got big from his auto-tune style. Then everybody seemed to jump on the bandwagon. t Pain himself doesn't really have much to say in his lyrics but the fact that this thing spread like wildfire was rather annoying the past 2 years or so.

My roomates listen to all this poprap and I've heard him do some songs without autotune. Whatever he does it'll most likely be more songs for clubbin.

Woah Pain... NOOOOOOOOOO! Seriously, I like his music. He did good with Autotune, no one even cared when Tpain used it only, when stupid Lil Wayne and kanye started using it and over saturated the market, and then to top it off ron browz(who I'm happy got dropped from his label) really messed up.

Hmm kind of odd considering T-Pain released a new song a couple of weeks ago hitting back at Jay-Z about Auto-Tune not being dead.

I'll start collecting his CDs now.
