This could be games, movies, or books. I honestly can't think of a single one. The first or the second always seem to be the best, and if the third is in fact better, it just so happens that it isn't the finale. Can anyone come up with any?

Then why was the second reviewed higher?

Fair. I haven't played the third one yet. I'm waiting for it to get nice and cheap.

The overall game is incredible. Great game play with a phenomenal story and environment. The ending is the only bad part, and even that is being expanded by Bioware. They are announcing the DLC changes in April. Once the ending is fixed it'll be a tremendous game.

The Lord of the Rings. The Fellowship of the Ring = 4 Oscars The Two Towers = 2 Oscars The Return of the King = 11 Oscars
The original Indiana jones but alot will argue with me on that.FundaiI did enjoy Temple of Doom more than the others. Don't understand the hate.

The ME twitter account has said a few times that no changes are being made. Only "clarity" and "closure" additions. Nothing is being fixed. I doubt it'll even be true DLC, really. Maybe just a video outlining what happened after the clusterf*** of nonsense and plot holes.
I did enjoy Temple of Doom more than the others. Don't understand the hate. Yeah I don't get why people hate temple of doom either. It's arguably the most underrated of the entire series (though it still doesn't sack up to the third IMO)[QUOTE="Fundai"]The original Indiana jones but alot will argue with me on that.Hexagon_777

The Lord of the Rings. The Fellowship of the Ring = 4 Oscars The Two Towers = 2 Oscars The Return of the King = 11 OscarsHexagon_777Because, somehow, arbitrary awards are a measure of quality.

My guess? because ME2 is WAAAAAAAAAY better than ME3!!
Star Wars Prequels. Episode III was the best one out of all three. I and II were horrible.jediknight52501There's a difference between best and "least terrible."

Third one is garbage once you realize that the choices you made during the other two have ZERO impact on the game world. And I mean zero. Let the council die? Whatever. Killed the Rachni queen? Who cares.Mass Effect. The third entry is just epic (except for tha last 10 minutes of course).

In the second game a reaper attacks the citadel. Everyone saw it. Third game starts: "O my, what could this invasion be?" I DON'T KNOW MAYBE IT'S THE REAPERS. I mean my lord in all the years I have been playing video games I have never seen a worse plot line than ME3. The universe is being ripped apart and you are being sent on petty side missions to appease different factions. Game is awful.
Mass Effect
Star Wars Prequeal movies (not that that's saying much)
LoTR, both movie and books
Rock Band :)
Indiana Jones
Transformers Movies (again, not saying much)
all my opinion of course
[QUOTE="leviathan91"]One comes to mind: Lord of the Rings movies.foxhound_foxThe Fellowship of the Ring was better.
I agree

temple of doom is as good as raiders, last crusade is good but the other 2 are better
Toy Story with Toy Story 3
Lord of the Rings with The Return of the King
Indiana Jones, with The Last Crusade
Star Wars Prequels, with Episode 3(considered now to be the 3rd best movie)
I'm sick of this bull***** about trilogy curse.
Any movie in a trilogie can be the best for differing reasons.
Here are the usual reasons:
1:Opens fresh idea, more intended to be a stand alone feature(example Jaws Matrix)
2:Takes ideas that created flawed jem in 1, and perfects them(example Uncharted 2 & Mass Effect 2)
3:Offers resounding resolution to saga with all the stops pulled out( Last Crusade and Toy Story 3)
The original Indiana jones but alot will argue with me on that.FundaiI have to agree with you on that. Last Crusade is my favorite out of them all. And for the topic. I would also have to say the prequel star wars trilogy. Revenge of the Sith was very well done and tied the prequels with the originals quite well.
