Its been a while since I watched Toy Story. I saw the third one about a year ago. I'll watch it again before I go to college alone in my room and cry at the end.
LotR manages to be good in all three movies :P . I'm not sure I'd say the third is better than the second (I -really- like the second), but it's definitely better than the first.
[QUOTE="WiiRocks66"]Oh yeah, definitely Toy Story 3!I don't know enough trilogies worthy so this is sort of the default winner for me.Toy Story.

Spiderman 3 Star Wars 3 Lord of the Rings 3 Lets be honest the only reason we watch is for the special effects and these two nailed them down. 3rd star wars has the best fights of the series Spiderman 3 had two villains as well. Lord of the rings 3 had alot of fighting and ended happy.Banjo_KongfooieThe Empire Strikes Back is better as is Fellowship of the Ring.

No, no, no, NO, no, that is simply incorrect. The first is significantly better than the third, which is a little better than the second.

WRONG.The first half of FOTR > first half of RotK > second half of FOTR > second half of TT > second half of RotK > first half of TT.
Idiots.
The original Indiana jones but alot will argue with me on that.Fundaiagreed The Last Crusade was by far the best of the three
[QUOTE="leviathan91"]One comes to mind: Lord of the Rings movies.foxhound_foxThe Fellowship of the Ring was better.
I disagree. A resolution to an epic 3 part story that includes a huge and great battle scene in place of mostly just walking around and then Boromir fighting with Frodo, essentially splitting the party, I would say settles that. Although the scence with the troll and balrog are good. I found Fellowship a good starter, but in my opinion, lacking action and weaker than both the Two Towers and ROTK. I just wish they'd have a movie based solely on the initial battle in Fellowship. I'd see more of that.

And I disagree with you.
I found the scenes with Boromir at the end of Fellowship to be more powerful and moving that anything ROTK had to offer.

Mass Effect. The third entry is just epic (except for tha last 10 minutes of course).
Then why was the second reviewed higher?
Because it actually had an ending. lol.LotR and the star wars prequels.

This is so wrong. I don't understand how you can live with yourself after this post. There really aren't enough of them out there. Even the most jaded of Star Wars fans will admit that ep. III was the best of the prequel trilogy, though. When it came out, I know a lot of people who hated 1 and 2 but said that 3 stood up there with the originals.MAILER_DAEMONIn fairness, saying Episode 3 was the best of the Star Wars prequels is like singling out the tallest person in a room full of midgets.
It looks like ROTK is winning slightly over Fellowship, although it really doesn't matter. People like what they like and can't be converted unless they really aren't strong in their opinion. People that like character development over everything else because it's new and unseen before like the original and those that like action, progression of the story, resolution, and everything else like the 3rd one. People that like not knowing if the bad guys will get owned like the second, hence Empire Strikes Back, Attack of the Clones (if you break the first 3 into 3 and the last 3 into a trilogy), and The Two Towers. Personally, I liked the second better than the first and third in Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, but rated the ROTK better than Fellowship.

I honestly like it better than most of Return of the Jedi, and the only time I really didn't like anything in Star Wars was most of the middle of Ep. 2. I just don't see a reason to rag on them so much.
