True Grit Discussion Thread

Well, True Grit came out today, and as you can tell by thesig and avatar, I'm really excited. My local paper gave it four out of four stars, which pumps me up even more.

So, this is the thread for people to post their reviews, or talk about the movie.

looks pretty cool, ill have to wait a while to see it though :(

Wowee. 96% on Rotten Tomatoes, after 96 reviews.

Western films are my favorite, and if you ask me the last "good" western film was "3:10 to Yuma". I hope "True Grit" is as good if not better.

I watched the original last night and now I'm pretty excited for this one. Too bad I live in Australia and it doesn't come out for another month here...CreepingDeath_

I forgot about this movie.

I'm surprised, I actually want to see this.

Watched it last night at a staff screening. It was really really really good. Sans Inception, it is my runaway favorite of the year.

Looks amazing, can't wait to see it.

i'm going tomorrow with my brother because he has 1/2 day at school.

With all this snow in the road, we could sure use some true grit around here!
