I thought the entire Batman movie trilogy was pretty bad tbh...

I'd say true. All the people who are saying no, what was better? Django? I certainly know it wasn't the god-awful Bourne Legacy...

I didn't see Skyfall yet, but of what I saw, I'd have to say DKR was the best. Second was probably Django. I love the Tarantino. I didn't get into the Hobbit that much, but it was a cool movie.
False. In fact as far as superheroes films are concerned, I preferred The Avengers. Neither of them are top 10 though.
I suppose it would be if you don't care about plot or good acting. As far as superhero movies go the Avengers was a hundred times better. And even though it came out on christmas, Django Unchained was my favorite movie of 2012.
I really can't stand super hero movies that take themselves seriously. The whole super hero concept is silly so the movie should be silly. DaBrainz
The problem is that Hollywood takes this thinking to heart then we end up with dreck like 'Batman and Robin'.
god no, Banes voice alone ruined it; wtf was going on there? he sounded like some weird electronic Sean Connery, it didn't suit the characters appearance at all. It was also incredibly long and mostly dull. I thought Skyfall was much better overall (even though Silva was pretty weak as fall as bad guys go). I thought The Avengers was alot better than TDKR also.
Oh gawd, not even freakin close. Have people truly forgotten what makes for a good movie? I'll tell you what doesn't: needlessly loud and bombastic music, plotholes, mediocre acting, bad writing, dreadful dialogue, and tons of pointless exposition (something that Nolan has become quite the master of). Best movie of 2012 my ass. It wasn't even a good movie.
It was a pretty crappy movie and The Avengers was loads better so I'll have to say, false.thebest31406
That's the movie I'd watch if I couldn't sleep.

Probably not everyone's taste, not even mine, but it's still a lot better than tdkr. Why are so many people saying Skyfall? :/ShadowsDemonBest film of the year? No. Better picture than The Dark Knight Rises? Undoubtedly.
[QUOTE="ShadowsDemon"]Why are so many people saying Skyfall? :/sammyjenkis898Best film of the year? No. Better picture than The Dark Knight Rises? Undoubtedly. No way it was better than Rises. Skyfall was really disappointing.
[QUOTE="ShadowsDemon"]Why are so many people saying Skyfall? :/mitu123Because it's awesome. I agree, I felt the pacing was great, it had a good opening sequence which It thought was the best in years (until I saw Zero Dark Thirty), James Bond was a stronger character and the main antagonist was extremely well made. I'd go as far as saying that his role was nearly as good as Heith Ledger's Joker role.

No way it was better than Rises. Skyfall was really disappointing. It features some of the most coherent, well choreographed action I've seen in an action flick in years, the villain isn't a glorified henchman, and it's just beautiful to look at.
The Dark Knight Rises is a mess.
