Last night, I finally got to see Millers Crossing. After viewing, I can safely say its up there with Goodfellas and The Godfather as one of the great gangster movies. Very underrated.....
Over The Edge is the only truly underrappreciated film I can think of. Memento and V for Vendetta...they're even in the IMDB top 250, so they are not really undderrated
V fir Vendetta, and Donnie Darko are the on;y ones i can think of. Battle Royale is under ratedin NA, but it got allot of praise in Japandante_123456
the only reason that it didn't get anything in NA is becuse it wasn't realeased here. HOwever, contrary to popular belief, it wasn't banned. There was something wrong with the makers tand they wanted a huge amount to put it on NA store shelves or something. SO the ONly way to see it would be to import it or watch it on google video.(if you want to know how PM me and i'll send you a link)
I also don't know why people are saying V for Vendetta. I know a fair amount of people who have seen it and i haven't meet one who hasn't liked it.
The only one i can think of would be Brick. Go check it out it is a fantastic indie film. It recieved a ton of praise from Sundance reviewer's and they were totally right. A budget movie also...made for under 500,000 dollars. Highly recommended.

Final Fantasy: the spirits within, it may have lost millions, but it was a good movie with an interesting story adn great animation, I have never heard one person give a good reasona s to why its a bad movie except that its not a real final fantasy movie:roll: pathetic.
also silent hill was good, so was running scared and the abandoned.

The story wasn't that interesting, and wasn't as deep as the video games.THE VIDEO GAMES. How pathetic is that?
The animation was top notch though, something to expect from Square :wink:

Every final fantasy game has a different story and characters ( except X-2) so thats again not a real reason. also i didnt find many of the games deep, good but not really deep. The spirits within had a really cool story I found more interesting than most final fantasy games.
even though it got a 90% rotten tomatoes,no one i know has seen it.

That's on my list. I like to keep an eye out for indie films (generally with Film Festival insignias on them), and the premise of that one looks great...but depressing. I'm not in the mood to see it yet. :(

The one with Thomas Jane from the Punisher,right? Yeah that film is very rare. I wouldnt have heard of it if it hadnt been for imdb.I'm a big fan of Thomas Jane.I looked at his page on IMDB, wrote down all the movies he's been in, and rented em on netflix.Great film.
