Spirits Within was pure crap.
I'd also like to say that Lock,Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch were awesome. Anyone I know who's seen them loved them, but I think that they're less known to most people

why was spirits within pure crap? if its becasue its not a real final fantasy movie then you can end the argument there becasue that is not a reason for hateing the movie. however lock stock and two smoking barrels is an awesome movie, so is snatch:P

Wow....anyone else see that and instantly think of The Nightmare Before Christmas.

I did the first time I saw Lock Stock. :)
And I'm not even a big fan of FF movies or games, I just thought it sucked.
[QUOTE="Apollo5000"]Just to be sure has anyone here actually seen Thursday?NakedSnake25
The one with Thomas Jane from the Punisher, right? Yeah that film is very rare. I wouldnt have heard of it if it hadnt been for imdb.I'm a big fan of Thomas Jane.I looked at his page on IMDB, wrote down all the movies he's been in, and rented em on netflix.Great film.
Thats the one. I'm surprised NetFlix have it. Its a shame that film isn't more well known...[QUOTE="zakkro"]Memento for sure :wink:thejakel11225
Yeah memento was awesome, the usual suspects was gr8 too.
Memento was absolutely fantastic - one of my favourite films ever.
As for The Usual Suspects, I'd personally say that that was an overrated movie: the 'clever' plot-twist wasn't clever at all.
It's like telling a joke to somone, but forgetting to put in the relevant information that makes the punchline make sense (for example, "Oh, I forgot, the second guy is the Pope - that's why it's funny when he swears, see?").
It wasn't clever because the ony way to predict the ending was to ignore every piece of information that the movie was telling you, which defeats the purpose of having a plot twist in the first place.
I forgot about Brick. :) Lucky # Slevin is great too.Guthook7
Brick? That 'teenage' noir film? I wasn't sure whether that was worth seeing - I guess I'll have to go see it now. :)
I wasn't a fan of Lucky Number Slevin - probably because the plot twist was totally obvious.
Anyway, I'm going to mention Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, which, despite starring Val Kilmer, was one of my favourite films in years. It's truly hilarious, even if you don't have a great knowledge of noir detective fiction/films.
300.ranger_wahaI agree, I also think Elvis Presly and The Beatles are underrated artists, I also think Marlon Brando is an underrated actor, I also think Einstein is an underrated physicist, I also think Shigeru Miyamoto is an underrated game designer. Nobody ever says anything about 300, it deserves more recognition.
