Hello to all just joined . New to the internet . Want to know what is all the buzz about twitter. Who cares if iam at the store or here or there. Can someone explain to me iam missing the point of this application.. Again new to the internet.................Iam 57 yrs old a factory worker and chief union stewart of 2nd shift... I don't get it either, I don't want people to know where I am at all times and what I'm doing, makes things way easier for stalkers.

I cannot stand Twitter. It's like they stole the status update feature on Facebook, so all you do is update your Twitter all day long to tell people what you're doing. "I just got home. Now I'm upstairs. I sat down. I blinked 4 times. I'm going to make food. I walked downstairs... yadda yadda." Of course, it's really only for people who need a certain amount of attention. That may sound mean, but why would you post all your business if you didn't want people knowing it? I don't want people to know how I spend every second of my day and I certainly don't need them to comment on it. I can sleep at night knowing that I have some shred of privacy left. I think it's immature and obnoxious and I want NO part of it.

ur not alone. i don't get it to much either. i have not logged into myspace, i made a facebook account but that is all i did. i don't like internet trends. they are a waist of time.iam2green

I am incapable of comprehending the popularity of which twitter has acquired, as well. It doesn't interst me in the slightest bit.
