I really have no idea how this show has managed to last this long. I was hoping it would get cancelled after its first season, but no... it has lasted into four.
I am ashamed that people think this is comedy.
I don't understand how any of those types of shows are still on. They are like a sitcom from the early 90s or something, with the laugh track and the whole bit~
Ya can't believe TV is still as big as it is with such crap being played. I used to watch the channels that taught me stuff. They don't seem to exist anymoreand I don't enjoy paying for advertising so I no longer have a TV feed in my home.
Well the advertising has made it pretty clear that they see sex appeal as one of their big selling points. It is ridiculous the amount of cleagage they work up for Kat in the promo shots..

Why does what other people enjoy bother you so much?
Barring a select few: traditional American sitcoms in generally have never been funny imo. Aside from perhaps "Frasier" and "Married With Children" (which has aged poorly), most tend to be fairly shit compared to British. Sadly: even at that, Britain has now moved into the realm of "shit" with family friendly middle class comedians.
Back in my day as a younger lad we had "The League Of Gentlemen", "Alan Partridge" and "Father Ted". They take a dump on American sitcoms.
Good times. Jolly good times.
Every single sitcom nowadays is just a re-hash of something that was more successful. It's really amazing how many shows there have been about the dysfunctional nuclear family, the group of friends having wacky adventures in their apartment complex, and the crazy workplace environment.
I enjoyed it, it's silly fun, hardly any stroke of comedy genius but it has had its moments. Anyhow, I think I'm a season or so behind but what I've watched I've enjoyed.
I once caught half an episode on TV a couple of years ago and thought wow what a steaming pile of horseshit this is what sitcoms came to after Seinfeld and Frasier. Then a while back I was browsing imdb for something and stumbled upon the news of the show's renewal for a fourth season and its 7 rating and was like you've got to be kidding...
And Firefly lasted one.
I think Kat Dennings is kinda... well... fat. Just a bit.
Nah. She's thick.
Well fat might be hyperbole, but it's at that point where rather than just being her body type, I think it would actually be healthier for her to lose a few, y'know?
Yeah, that show from everything I have seen, both in commercials as well as the 10 minutes I watched while the TV was just on in the background at a friends house all seemed awful. There was nothing original about the show, bad acting and the script/writing was atrocious.
Like said in this thread earlier, I am not sure how that kind of show ran for more than a season. There has to be some kind of following, I am just super curious as to who that audience is?!?
