WELL maybe those "BRICK-BREAKERS", as you put it, are not interested in money/fame. Nothing wrong with living a humble life. They probably know how to use their strength when it comes to defending their family/friends far better than those UFC fighters.

SkyWard20

Really? All of them? There's gotta be at least a few thousand brick breakers out there (they have competitions for such things, I think). You're telling that every single one of these guys is disinterested in money? 'Cause all it would take is one of these guys to decide that in addition to breaking bricks, he's like to be a millionaire. He'd just stroll into the UFC and get the belt in every weight c|ass with his super-punches. Explain why this has not occured.

Fighting a real fight is not like a ring fight, y'know. There's a difference between throwing kicks and hurling yourself at an opponent, cooped up in a ring and having to deal with an enemy that uses his/her surroundings, like in a REAL fight. In fact, if you'd know ANYTHING about fighting, you would also AT THE VERY LEAST admit that there MIGHT still be great fighters like Bruce Lee who could probably put most UFC fighters to shame. The kind of people that you don't find in a ring. ;)

I dealt with an enemy that used his surroundings a couple days ago; he threw a beer bottle at me. I think I know enough about fighting to know that people who do nothing but practice fighting are going to be better at fighting than people who practice hitting stationary objects (or acting). As regards your final statement there, no I do not think there are great fighters whocould put most mixed martial artists to shame. I do not think these people exist, for the same reason I do not believe superheros exist: Because I have seen no evidence for them.

Of those Anderson Silva. I'd love to see GSP move up to middle weight and get destroyed by Silva. He's such a boring fighter and I can't stand his fans.

Long long ago, Royce Gracie embarrassed brick-breakers and every other type of one-dimensional fighter. The Gracie family attracted those brick-breakers with money and fame for being able to beat even their weakest fighter, Royce. Granted, he was one-dimensional, but damn. That's all I can say. Thing is, nowadays every worthwhile MMA fighter is well-rounded. Being well-versed in only one skill won't get you far. Could the world's best karate practitioner beat guys like GSP and Silva? Not a chance.

Yep, still don't see the appeal in UFC. Boring.

dodgerblue13
Which fighters have you seen if you think it's boring?

He might've watched the matches before the main match of the night.

[QUOTE="BMD004"][QUOTE="SkyWard20"] If that dude would know anything about fighting, he'd know that there are still people in this world that have never been in the ring that can cut an entire stack of bricks in two... imagine what they could do to those UFC fighters.SkyWard20

Brick-breaking is a novelty. If you knew anything about fighting, you would know that breaking bricks means absolutely nothing. Most of the time when you see these brick breakers, it's middle aged white men. You think they could rough up a UFC fighter?

On what basis do you discredit their ability to break matter that can be even harder than stacks upon stacks of bones? I don't remember on what channel it was -- maybe Discovery channel -- I dunno, there was a doctor or something who would measure the hit impact of a martial artist. He wasn't as big as these UFC fighters are... quite the contrary, actually. After measuring the force of the impact, the doctor said that if his punch would hit him ( the doctor ), his ribcage could possibly break.

Rib cage is fragile as it is. You can break it giving the Heimlich.
