These are the most underrated bands of the 80s to me.

1. The Teardrop explodes

2. Pulp

3. Faith no more

4. The Jam

5. Talking Heads- Ok I don't know if they were underrated or how popular they were.

Faith No More aren't underrated...........at all O_o As for me: Sodom Kreator Over Kill ........basicly every 80s Thrash band that isn't one of the big 4:P Darth-Caedus

Exodus and Testament should have been in the Big Four...and "M16" by Sodom rocks.

Agree, replace Anthrax with Exodus, and just start calling it the big 5 to include Testament:P Got that right:D

No, couldn't have been. Because it went Elf-Rainbow-Black Sabbath-Dio, and he started Sabbath in the late '70s. I guess Rainbow was early to late '70s - WAY ahead of its time.

Ratt and Mercyful Fate Both are my only favorite bands of their respective genres :lol:Toriko42

To tell you the truth, I can't stand either of them. Ratt just isn't unique. I literally can't tell their songs apart from Dokken, and I own most of their albums.

I just like them, I don't know why. I can't get into any other bands like them but I like how they sound. And this is most likely one of the best songs ever :P
