If the measure of greatness is simply an imperialist means, then, by all means, the US is the greatest state in the world. If the measure is of development in one's own country, then it is certainlly France. As far foriegn policy goes, Cuba is certainly the greatest state in the world.phragitHah, that made me laugh. If you think we are imperialists you have alot to learn, If we were we would be systematically taking over the enitre world by now, we arent. And FRANCE, are you kidding. You know im not even going to waste my time writing about this. And Cuba's foreign policy, you sir have lost your mind, or are just ill informed.

So? I admit the US isn't the best, but we really can't say that any country is the greatest. They all have flaws that make them worse that some other country.

And much of those statements you made are not facts, how is NAFTA economic imperialism, half the things you said never happened.

Please do not talk about things that you have no clue about.. You do know Cuba offered immense amounts of humanitarian aid to New Orleans after Katrina.. But the geniouses in our government turned it down.
United States by far does not have the best stats.. We have alot countries a head of us in literacy, least amount of baby fatality rate, as wella s other stats.
Also United States is by far not the best when it comes to Foriegn Aid.. They infact give one of the smallest %'s of money compared to other nations. Its easy to claim we are the best when we have $100 and give out $20, while every one out there is $50 or less and gives $18. Alot of our foriegn aid goes to countries of political importance rather then absolute need. Not to mention our foriegn aid system is pretty broken where most times alot of the money is simply lost and doesn't do much. Not saying they are the bad or the worse, but they CERTAINLY are not the best.

Why should we accept help from Cuba when they are run by a dictator, their people are not free, and Cuba has numerous Human Rights violations.and our literacy rate straight from the government website
We are tied first along with 15 other countries.

Literacy: definition: age 15 and over can read and writeFirstly that goes against your entire point and you are changing the subject and poisoning the well.. Who cares if its ran by the dictator my point was you do not know what your talking about and said something completely false. Lets not forget we still support numerous dictators, such as Saudi Arabia which we are NOW ARMING.
Secondly look at comparison charts in stats such as literacy rates, you will see that alot of countries in Europe for instance are ahead of us. The US is by no means bad but it certainly is not the best.
