seriously injured is out of porportion..seriously injured is like near death... this guy under law will get assault and battery.. and prob a few other charges with 3 years max... what do you think happens in normal every day fights between two guys.. what if one breaks the other ones nose and scraps up the guys face and such... should he get 7 years? i kno its a girl and all and you should never hit women.. but im just saying 7 years would be way to harsh for a broken nose and a few scratches. he will prob get off on probation and community service.. i do agree he will get special treatment.. us normal people would prob get 6 months with a good lawyer.
