Then that's good but your post about "all is fair in love and war" says otherwise, which is why I asked all of those things. Somebody asked why they got the death penalty and then you basically said that you condemned them because their actions were unjustified.

BlackAlpha666

Sorry, misunderstanding.

I was responding to the poster's first question when I said 'all is fair in love and war' -- I also said that I won't condemn them, but that I thought the role of the Japanese in the war was unjust.

I can't believe the amont of people in this thread actually sticking up for the terrorists. What the hell is wrong with you? We are in a war. The enemy doesn't have rights like our own citizens have. I really don't care what they do to them to gain intelligence, to be honest..

I concur. Let's nuke the sons of b****** and get over with it.

This is why a lot of people hate America.

Should America only support those nations that Islam or Osama say we can support?

I have no issue with how they interrogate plus the fact that they are getting trials could be the most rediculous thing on record....carry on...

The following is a simulated trial:

."umm and how did you get this evidence that they were a terrorist" "well after we kicked in the door during a firefight we found this information in his hut"...."so no search warrent?"...... "no"...."free the little angel so he can go back to his family and make the world a better place".....

Omni-Slash

Just no.

I know some of you will have a hard time grasping this concept, but this is a victory for our fledgling democracy, our constitution, and our position in the world as a champion of human rights. The right to Habeas Corpus and due process of law should be entitled to every suspect/prisoner, regardless of what crimes they are accused of having committed. Guantanomo has been and continues to be a mockery of everything we in the U.S. stand for.

I want to see terrorists suspects, if found guilty by a court of law, punished severely just as much as the next American but not at the expense of one of the most basic and fundamental rights our people have fought for.
