[QUOTE="The_Ish"] [QUOTE="Chavyneebslod"]If people bust into my room at night and try to kidnap me because I have been streaming a few episodes of House over the net (which is breaking the law, incidentally) I have every right to try and implant the intruders with sharp bits of metal, and I will exercise that right. If America tries to 'extradite' me in the middle of the night without the consent of the British government, then I am going to raise hell for them. Chavyneebslod
If the US were to "extradite" you, it would be for a terrorist act...also, it's hypocritical to obey one law and ignore another.
True, but some laws and rightshave precedence over others.
I was meaning to pose an example of the American government attempting to whisk me away in the dead of night without the cooperation of the British govenment. They are breaking international law. It wouldn't matter if I was a terrorist at all, just because the supreme court gives it the ok, doesn't give Americathe right to carry out operations (millitary or otherwise) on another country's soil without the other country's permission. To simply 'kidnap'a foreign national and take them out toAmerica is just hypocritical. If the Americans went through the proper channels and was arrested by, say the metropilian police, thenfair enough. I will be sent to the US and tried. Any other way than that for anon-terrorist act, I will fight with all the breath in my body.
Doesn't the British government allow the US to arrest terrorists? I am not too familiar with this.
