I'm sure you at least have some local entertainment or something you can do outside of your front door. The nearest city in an hour long drive away for me and there is little to do in my town but drink at one of the 15 or so local pubs.

There are places in Nebraska where its a 3-4 hour drive just to reach a town of 10,000 :? An hour drive is absolutely nothing here.

There's plenty of news about South Dakota for us South Dakotans.
New Hampshire, Delaware, Rhode Island and Maryland. Those I dont hear much about anymore these days. especially Rhode Island and New Hampshire.

Sounds like Australia. These Aussie folk have a totally differant concept of rural life and travel time than us Europeans.
