I like artists from both countries such as...

UK: Bloc Party, the Joy Formidable, and Oasis

US: The Airborne Toxic Event, Cage the Elephant, Counting Crows, Crystal Castles, Foo Fighters, the Gaslight Anthem, Gin Blossoms, Grouplove, Pearl Jam, Queens of the Stone Age, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Silversun Pickups, Smashing Pumpkins, Streetlight Manifesto, and the Strokes.

In my opinion the US wins by a fair amount.

But I do like your Carnavas avatar. You know I helped promote that album before it made it big.... Good to know its still being discovered.

Favorite band is British (Iron Maiden) but I have way more American bands I listen to than British so I will go with the U.S.

I prefer UK, but Michael Jackson is no doubt a genius of music.

I think that the uk might be edging ahead with respect to music. Liverpool alone has produced a lot of the worlds best artists.

Thats pretty cool, the only "promoting" i've done is show them to all my friends haha. At first i only liked "lazy eye" but the rest of the album quickly grew on me. So i got their other albums (Swoon and Pikul ep) cant wait for the new album Neck of the Woods to come out. May 8th cant come soon enough
