[QUOTE="camreeno360"] It seems as if Canada is such a young country that it culturally doesn't know what itself is.The_Ish
We are about only 50 years older than them.
Well Canada gained independence in 1867 so do the math. Aside from the French parts of Canada, it's really not that old at all.[QUOTE="The_Ish"][QUOTE="camreeno360"] It seems as if Canada is such a young country that it culturally doesn't know what itself is.camreeno360

Still not that young.

Plus we have colonisation mainly starting in 1607, adding 169 years. But yeah, we get the point now, big deal.Hm... the poll is currently tied up at 15/15, HOWEVER, if we take the US' population (300 million) vs. Canada's population (30 million) and put the votes into proportion, we see that the score is ACTUALLY:
Canada - 150
USA - 15

 That was great
But I'll have to say USA. There's just a lot more opportunity, higher waiges, much larger variety of weather (if you aren't into cold weather, you're screwed with Canada), and it seems to understand itself as a country more. It seems as if Canada is such a young country that it culturally doesn't know what itself is. It seems like Canada is always advertising itself as this multicultural Mecca instead of having developed a culture of its own. As well as the common attitude over there to feel better than America at everything for no reason (maybe it's traditional?). camreeno360
Opportunity is equal, infact we need people up here right now, we have really hot summers and cold winters, but you can avoid the cold easily, as far as the culture I don't understand what you're getting at, we have about the same as you guys with less immigrants.
Either way..... I like both, although I tend to like Canada more, not just because I'm from here but the feeling is different.
It's kind of funny with north america, in Canada you Feel like you're in about5 really big country's and in the US you feel like you're in about 20.

No I'm not talking about imported culture, but really an independently developed culture.[QUOTE="mark4091"][QUOTE="camreeno360"]But I'll have to say USA. [QUOTE="hunter627"]US because america is like the pyscho killer of the world camreeno360Wow...
Sad, but true . The U.S. has always handle situations quite dramatically. If you even look at us the wrong way, there will be a million soldiers at your country's doorstep the next day.

The really dumb thing that cought my eye though was how he said "US" (saying he votes it better than Canada) then said "because america", probably thinking they are two different countries. "Oh the US is great, but America sucks"...Make much sense? Please Log In to post.
