I understand what you're saying completely. You're saying there's no money in peer reviewing alternative medicine, so it doesn't get done. Fair enough. You obviously don't understand the OP's point then.

The government wants you alive just as long as you are productive. They want you paying taxes, they don want you taking a share in social security. You aren't a government asset when you aren't working and taking money from the tax pool. There is a very real reason why government wants you dead by the time you reach retirement. They don't want to extend your lifespan. Thats not in their interest.
