[QUOTE="LaMont4553"] Not really, the smaller receivers like Desean jackson are still 180, and the bigger ones, like Andre johnon, are around 220. Anyhow, to prove your point wrong, I have been my whole life. I play HS football, and have been playing football for many years. I gained 30 pounds just this year from getting a trainer and dedicating myself to the weight room. I went from starting my Freshmen year at 170, to 200 pounds and counting. and it's not like my dad is any big dude, my Dad's like 6'2" and 190 with a gut! It helps you tremendously in football. I was supposed to be on JV this year, well I was a 2 way starter on Varsity, and i'm only a sophomore. Really, it's not that hard to lift weights, body builders are friggin useless other than lifting. And all you have to do is dedicate yourself to the weight room and everything else will come to you 400% easier than it would if you didn't lift weights. Athletically speaking, at least.LaMont4553
Again, perhaps I'm generalizing, but you're talking to people on an internet forum, you shouldn't assume they can take to weightlifitng the same way someone who's been playing sports their entire life would.
I guarantee you if the skinniest, shortest, most unathleticdude on here that is in HS went to the weight room and lifted right and ate right and dedicated themselves to the weight room every day, if they went out for football or maybe even hockey or basketball, or pretty much anything besides baseball, which takes years of training, and golf, which takes no athleticism, they wouldn't be half bad. I mean, they may not be any college recruit or be legendary, but at least they could say they played a sport at a high level in HS.
Again, it's not that easy for everyone, maybe you just take to it, but not everyone's exactly like you.
