Valedictorian denied diploma for saying 'Hell'

Why are they wasting her time with this BS? Making her wright an apology letter for saying hell? Talk about a corrupt school administrative...

Why should she? She didn't say any swear word as far as I'm concerned. She didn't use it in an offensive matter.

Because the school officials who have authority over her apparently deemed it offensive. Do I personally care what she said? No. But she's acting like a child by refusing to write an apology. Part of being an adult is sometimes doing crap you don't want to do. If I tried to go up against my boss at work on every decision they made I thought was stupid, I'd be looking for a new job by now.

It literally will not hurt anything to write a note. Except her misguided teenage sense of moral superiority.
