And another : 9, 61, 52, 63, 94, ___ , 18 dave12332131? ...EDIT: DAMMIT i got it wrong >_

The answer it was looking for was 46. Reverse each number to see the clear pattern.[QUOTE="Theokhoth"]
How did you?
Each number on the right column is a multiple of five higher than the number above it. Each new column adds five more, so I just followed that to its conclusion.
Nope. How did you go about getting this ?
Damn it. :x Same basic logic: the ones place appears to have a pattern: 9, 6, 5, 6, 9. The tens place definitely has a pattern: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. . . . .again, I just followed it to what I thought was the right step in the pattern.dave123321
Edit: looking back your solution does not seem to fit.
I still don't get it... what do you mean by reversing the numbers?EDIT: oh ok I got it.. but the first 9 seems out of place, other than that it becomes 4*4 (reverse), 5*5 (reverse) etc..
logically speaking if they man saw a bunch of other men with brown eyes and they didn't leave would he think that that color isn't brown? and if one man leaves and the guru said one brown eyed man can leave than wouldn't all of them assume that he already left and just stay?
The idea is that they posses perfect logic. Think of a situation of only one brown eyed person . That person will know automatically that he has brown eyes since he is the only possible brown eyed person the guru sees. With two people , each brown eyed person will see that the other did not leave the first day. The only reason for this is that there is another brown eyed person (themselves). So they leave that day(2nd day) . For 3 people this works out the same , each person sees two other people with brown eyes. The fact that they did not leave on the 2nd day proves that there is another person with brown eyes(themselves) . They leave that day(3rd day) . This continues till day 100.logically speaking if they man saw a bunch of other men with brown eyes and they didn't leave would he think that that color isn't brown? and if one man leaves and the guru said one brown eyed man can leave than wouldn't all of them assume that he already left and just stay?

An easy one : A slug is at the bottom of a well and decides to make it's way to the top. He climbs 3 feet each day , but slips down two feet during the night when sleeping. The well is 20 feet deep . How long does it take to get to the top?
What is unique about the following number? 854,917,632
A greek was born on the 260th day of 20 B.C and died on the 260th day of 60 A.D . How many years did he live ?

A man has collected 1728 cigarette ends , how many cigarettes could he make and smoke in total if 12 cigarette ends make one cigarette ?D,H,M,S,____
A man has collected 1728 cigarette ends , how many cigarettes could he make and smoke in total if 12 cigarette ends make one cigarette ? the second idea I had about number 2 was that it was even odd even- odd odd odd- even odd even but i'm still not sure about that. The third riddle is quite difficult, i spent a complete hour trying to solve it but to no avail. As for your new riddles. I need to work on one. but two... As far as I know cigarette ends can't be smoked :lol:While there is some symmetry for number two , the answer has to do with why this particular order is unique from any other other order of these particular numbers. (hint: do not think math) . As for the cigarette one , lets pretend that he has some device that allows him to make cigarette out of the ends.dave123321arghh there are 4 riddles right now >_

A man has collected 1728 cigarette ends , how many cigarettes could he make and smoke in total if 12 cigarette ends make one cigarette ? hm.. I know the first riddle here means day,hour,minute,second... but I don't know what comes after that.. maybe split second? if so then SS. As for the second riddle. I'm sure this is wrong but i'm going to say 144.D,H,M,S,____

You are incorrect on the 2nd one.[QUOTE="dave123321"]You got 1 and 3 correct. 2 has to do with their order. Two more :
D,H,M,S,____
