I want to make some old-school Nes videos like AVGN, Irate, or Cloud8745.

Do you know any good video game software that also records sound at the same time? No watermarks, no FPS, no logo, just a nice clean image.

I've tried ZdSoft; but I can't turn off the FPS. And if I remember correcly, the problem with Camtasia is it doesn't record sound properly(?). I used Fraps once, but I couldn't get rid of the URL.

And if you know any other software that might be useful for this, uh, but don't want to post it, could you send me a msg? Because I'm not sure what other software I should use. For this.

I use the Gamebridge. I got it for £15 off Amazon. The computer recognises it as a webcam and you plug either S-video or component cables into it, then record it directly onto the computer.

However if you mean recording your desktop, I use Camtasia Studio 3, although I got that free with a PC Advisor magazine. I had the same trouble with Camtasia as you, but you can just put music from whatever game as the background.

I've tried CamStudio, but the sound never works. Can't find any solutions.

AVGN uses a DVD recorder with an RF cable socket to record his games with the console plugged into it, i'd say that's the best way to do it, if your wanting to record from en Emulator then i guess a one-time payment to FRAPs is yoru best solution.

FRAPS is the best solution. You can buy it cheaply enough to get rid of the watermark. You can also try WeGame, but it only works for a select number of games. I also could never get the sound to record properly.

You can use something different to help . I'm also a super gamer, I always record in-game video when I was playing. The one I used can capture everything performed on screen, it also can record audio from speaker or your voice through microphone, and last save it as standard video format file. You can customize the FPS settings as you wish. http://www.screenrecord.net/record-computer-game.html

Photoshop imageready was for making simple 2d animations along with a dslr camera tech tree. Software authorware was able to produce simple multimedia presentations, later burn to a cd or DVD . Which could have sound files , animations, video files to the last .Exe file ! Just some educational help.

I was eyeing a Hauppauge PVR on Amazon that's like $180 for a while, records stuff in AVCHD, and you can send it to something like Sony Vegas to edit, I also saw a while back too that GameStop started carrying them (on their website at least).

In game video? Try using video recording phones? But effects not too good.
