Luke from the Lightning Theif series. Corrupted by old Kronos to do his bidding, turning on his friends and family. Quite generic, but its touching.
Kael'Thas Sunstrider from Warcraft. He just wanted to do his people a service, but ended up corrupted by the Legion... and losing his head...
Arthas Menethil from Warcraft. Again, wanting to avenge his people but ended up going too far, now is the scourge of the people he wanted to protect.
Saren in Mass Effect because he wasnt really evil and just trying to save as many people as he could
Villians are a matter of opinion. Most of them are misguided, tortured or just misunderstood.
Some of my favorites.
Say what you will about the poor acting but the underlying story of Anakin was sad...
[QUOTE="Gh0st_Of_0nyx"]Team rocket :cry:Hockey_SlayerThere blasting off again :( I just wonder where they are going to land. There can only be so many conviniently placed hay-stacks.
Can't believe I foregot Saren. Also, adding to that, Cyrus from the 4th gen Pokemon games is a sad character, determined to make a new world and all that.Saren in Mass Effect because he wasnt really evil and just trying to save as many people as he could
