Not sure, but some people feel there is Satanism in Pokemon.

There was actually a thread here about that. TC was making a bunch of unsubstantiated claims, the crux of which was that the villains wanted to create a New World Order or something like that. Y'know, because writers always use the villains a mouthpieces for their beliefs.
