Well if you are going because of hatred and other reasons I recommend you join the Army and go to ranger school. The training you will recieve will assist you, and they train you to love killing so its doesnt matter about the hatred. Only downfall is some people lose their minds during ranger school so be mentally fit as well as physically fit. I guarantee you will come back a completely different person. I didnt go ranger but my close friend who is in Iraq did go ranger and it completely transformed him. You can join the military for any reason you want it doesnt matter what the reason is. From my experience I met people who joined because of boredom, just felt like it, gf dumped them, fiance cheated, tired of selling drugs, tired of going to jail, to prevent from going to jail, wanted to kill, wanted to try it out, college money etc. My reason was the second one and no matter the reason they were/are good soldiers.

This is the best analysis of the thread and I agree completely.
Also, I'd choose Army over Marines simply because it is the larger force and with size comes more variety/options/gear/opportunity. What I mean is that you might decide you like it and choose a full career. And for a full career I'd choose Army over Marines. Since youcan't know how it will turn out, I'd choose the one that ultimately has more long term potential advantages.
And for the record, I did my nine years and was a Capt when I left.
Ok , after thinking about this . If you want to join the military just join it if its your dream. You know whats best for your self go where your self tells you to go to.
Your country will be better served if you don't join the military. "intense hatred" is never a good reason to go to war, and will lead to events that your country and yourself will regret.
