  • Saving Private Ryan
  • Patton
  • The Longest Day
  • Band of Brothers (miniseries)

All of these, especially The Longest Day, which is absolutely fantastic. I also enjoy Black Hawk Down, The Dirty Dozen, and Sniper (not the greatest movie ever, but I like it.) And while it's not a movie, Band of Brothers is also amazing as well.

Saving Private Ryan by far. Blackdown was too deppressing, seeing all the americans getting killed. Band of brother was confusing for me, becuase i only saw some episodes. I want to see full metal jacket. Is it any good?

Three Kings doesn't get nearly enough love. That is truly one of the great war movies, and probably the most recent great war movie I've ever seen. A true genre-defying, entirely lovable, and truly unique cinema experience that was executed nearly perfectly.

I like all war movies, World War 2 ones are the most common ones I will watch though. I like The Eagle Has Landed, that is a good movie.

The Big Red One with Lee Marvin and that dweeb that played Luke Skywalker is by far the best war movie I have ever seen. It had dudes with testicles blown off, 'Tards sporting MP40's, and preggo chicks giving birth inside tanks, and let's not forget the wet lettuce scene where Skywalker makes love to a French Resistance woman- it was like a 5-year-old making love to the baby sitter.
