no americans were killed on american soil, which = genocideYou are kidding yourself if you think that the Iraq war is genocide. If you want an example of genocide, look at what Saddam Hussein did to the Kurds.

I think you need a redefinition of the world "genocide"
Genocide is:
(a) Killing members of the group;
(b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
(d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
(e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.
–Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, Article II
You do realize that losses of American soldiers are also in the thousands? What was genocide was the terrorists killing their own people (Iraqis killing Iraqis)
For the most part civilian deaths by Americans were either by friendly fire and or war crimes.
You Sir are misinformed. America killed over a half a million iraqi people..not just military..but civilians..if thats not genocide...what is?You are kidding yourself if you think that the Iraq war is genocide. If you want an example of genocide, look at what Saddam Hussein did to the Kurds.

The death of civilians is a deplorable reality, and as much as you may hate and disagree with the Iraq war, it is not genocide.

Iraqis were killed because the terrorists hid and blended themselves with them. The Iraqis were just one of the many casualties of war.
Genocide is the deliberate killing of a group. The objective of the invasion of Iraq was not to kill civilians but to capture the terrorists in there as said above civilians were killed out of friendly fire (shrapnel, stray bullet, bombs etc..).
If theres someone to blame for the thousands of Iraqis who died then its Osama Bin Ladin or Saddam Husein
Bush did destroy the whole part of "national" Iraq, and forced democracy on them, altering their conditions of life. The insurgents are no longer soldiers, and gitmo provided torture on these civilians. They are civilians defending invaders, if military no longer exists So that means kidnapping, murder, and genocide cubemovies
US invaded to fight terrorism (and get oil to boot) the objective was never to kill innocent civilians. Therefore it is not genocide.
If your argument is about civilians getting killed and abused by American soldiers there then thats War Crimes not genocide.

iraq wasn't about terrorism, it was seperate from Al Quada. And the airstrike on Badghdad 2003 was genocide, in intent of killing Iraqi's, in order to give Saddam up after 48 hoursIraq conflict in 2003 was genocide in attempt to kill the national government and national religious involvment between church and state, in attempt to create a democracy to alter the conditions of life between the Sunni and Shiites at the cost of civilian lives. there was no threat to the United States at the given time, nor did Al Quada roam the streets in Iraq This is Genocidecubemovies
So the bombing of the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and dozens of other places which killed hundreds of innocent civilians by the Al Qaeda was not a threat? Would have preferred that the US would have just sat back and watch the bombings occur? They did what they had to do Al Queda was killing thousands of civilians (both US and other nationalities), the best solution to put the bombings to a significant halt was to attack the problem itself. Attacking the Al Qaeda in Iraq. Yes a lot of civilians died as a result of the invasion but a lot of them were done by the Al Qaeda themselves, they were hiding in people's homes they were cowards using innocent civilians as shields, they instigated the attack on Iraq, they refused to surrender and still continue on acts of terrorism which they call "Jihad" or holy war and let me tell you this there is nothing the war they just started.

no..its not a threat..it was americas fault for letting them on those planes without searching..we fell asleep...if we were awake that day none of this bs would of happenedGood job! Please inform me the next time documents are released which say that Bush's sole reasoning for going into Iraq (other than WMD's and capturing Saddam) was to kill as many Iraqi's or Muslims as he could. Until that time, Learn2History.i said it once and ill say it again..this "war on terrorism" was a clever scheme so the U.S can get what they want...kinda reminds me of a man called adolf hitler...except for different reasons...::grabs flameshield::

Yes but the root of the problem is the Al Qaeda, if they could only be reasonable and could be negotiated with none of this terrorism have happened, the attack on Iraq unnecessary and the loss of so many civilians. But past is past, we'll see the full after effects of the war once the US occupation ends on December 2010
[QUOTE="-Sun_Tzu-"]You Sir are misinformed. America killed over a half a million iraqi people..not just military..but civilians..if thats not genocide...what is?Saddam's army killed countless Kurds during his systematic Genocide, the majority of which were CHILDREN. Between his genocide of the Kurds, the murders carried out by his secret police, and the tortures and rapes leading to death of many others, including more CHILDREN, the death toll caused by Saddam reached about 1.5 million. In just a few months after the invasion, 375 mass graves had already been found....You are kidding yourself if you think that the Iraq war is genocide. If you want an example of genocide, look at what Saddam Hussein did to the Kurds.

[QUOTE="cubemovies"][QUOTE="-GeordiLaForge-"]Wow, so stopping the genocide of the Kurdish people, the murders, the tortures, the rapes, was actually a genocide in itself? Wow, just wow...-GeordiLaForge-it is when you keep attacking the country after saddam has been capturedDo you realize the scope of the genocides and civil wars that would have occurred if we pulled out then? U.S should of handled the situation differently, not bomb baghdad if saddam doesn't turn himself in (2003)
