Was I too harsh?

SO theres this girl i've been interested in for over a year. About a month ago she asked me out, of course i said yes, and then the next day she broke up with me, with some **** excuse. She started dating this guy again, who she has been on and off with for a LONG time. I realized at that time that I was her plan B, she would barley talk to me when she was with the other guy, and when she broke up with him, she was suddenly interested in me. So today I stopped answering her chats, and ignoring her in general. When she kept talking to me, I told her that I was sick of being her fallback plan, and told her to **** off, literally. I then proceded to unfriend her on all social networking sites, and I guess it was nice to get some closure. Do you think I was too harsh or I did the right thing?

You may have been a little harsh, but you did the right thing overall. Same thing happened with me once.

A similar thing happened to me once, but I was with her for a month before she got back with her ex.

Little harsh yeah, but the right move. You manned up and told her you aren't taking her crap so now she'll know you aren't her doormat.

You reacted emotionally but under the circumstances I don't blame you. If you were more direct about why you were hurt and wanted nothing to do with her, that would have been golden. Or better if you slept with her first. You did the right thing, regardless. There're other guys would have remained a sucker for women like her.

I wouldn't be surprised if Scumty had little or no experience with women, let alone a knack for detecting social games.
