To be fair TC, as long as plan 'A' is working out, I doubt she will lose much sleep over plan 'B'. ...most likely to simply bump plan 'C' up in the rotation

umm some people wanted a situation update so here it is..

She added me on facebook again, probably because she wants to apologize, as she almost never sees me IRL anymore. And for all the people mocking the whole unfriending on facebook thing, i know it sounds kind of dumb but thats really the only medium she contacts me through anymore.

But I feel good about what I did.

You did the right thing.....now don't let her draw you back in. Find someone new....and unattached.

That's the spirit! You can go ahead and friend her again, but at least now you know what to watch out for.

No. Better to stay out of her sphere of influence.

I don't see anything wrong with them remaining friends as long as he knows to do the right thing; he has to put a stop to it early if there's even a remote hint that there could be a repeat of this situation. Although if the mind is weak...

I find it's usually best to stay away from people who have played some kind of bad social game with you. I'm 100% with LJ on this one.

He has feelings other than friendship for her.....she likes to have a backup.......he should avoid that situation. Besides, if he does friend her again....she'll just believe she can continue to use him. They don't seem to have a real friendship to start with......and there is plenty of people on Facebook if your goal is a massive friend list.

Yeah, I know what you guys mean. I'd probably do the same if I were in that situation too. It's really up to him though and whether or not he's prepared to be firm if he wants to friend her again.

I would recommend avoiding that situation as well. She doesn't sound like a very good person.

Since it looks like you don't want to have anything more to do with her, just ignore her. Don't even consider entertaining that idea of yours.
