There is always a conspiracy theorist in every pack. Get over it.

The dust kicked up by the vehicle in the videos is perfectly parabolic.
No one has ever presented an argument for how it was faked that accounted for this fact.
Palantas
Can you explain this a little more in depth?
Well, it's pretty simple. Just watch this video. Specifically, watch the dust that is kicked up by the tires. It goes up a comparable height as on Earth, but then comes right back down along a parabolic path, almost as if (gasp!) there was no atmosphere. Which, of course, there wasn't. Compare that to the dust kicked up in, say, this video. It's kicked up about the same height, but then it lingers in the air - because there is air in which to linger.

Ah, I see. Thanks.
If somebody told you that something you trained for and put your heart into was never real wouldn't you get slightly mad? The moon landing was real there is a few explination vidoes that counter the ones that claim the moon landing is fake pretty well....I just saw this on youtube, of Buzz Aldrin punching a conspiracy nut. which led me to wonder, what do people on here think

Well you can't exactly deny that the space race, at least at the very top where the decisions were being made to go forward with it, was basically a big pissing contest with the Russians as our opposition. :P Other results were welcome, but secondary in importance.

I never denied the reason they did it was stupid (especially since the beggining of it was mostly for the creation of ICBM) but reality is sooner or later people need to get off earth, and this is a good starting point.

Granted, but to call it "a big **** contest with the Russians" seems basically accurate to me.

Not exactly since there was a bunch of reasons to try and advance the technology. The space shuttle though? That things pretty useless, its not really advancing the technology at all. I know its a lot cheaper, but it really wasn't doing much of anything either.
if that really happened, then did the americans go there for a second time? if not then it is a fake. there is no money issue here either.
Nope. It's not faked. There's at least four* laser rangefinder reflectors from the Apollo misions that are still being used by scientists today.

it saddens me to see that there are answers other than "No" in the poll.themagicbum9720i have been waiting for someone else to post my feelings
Yes it was. It was actually filmed on Mars. killerfistoh snap, the cat is out, we have a turd in the punch bowl. just dont tell them about the alien atmosphere creator we found in olympus mons
You know that famous clip where they plant the American flag? Well, the flag is quite clearly blowing in the wind. This does make me wonder.

No, it's not blowing in the wind. They are twisting the flag to push through the soil on the moon, and with no air resistance, this creates unhindered waves in the flag. Here is a video of the flag after it has been planted. It is completely stationary.

That video doesn't actually show them planting it. I do get your logic though.
However the whole thing does seems. I dunno...I've never been sure about the moon landing, it just bugs me for some reason. :|

Well of course it doesn't show them planting it; that was the point. :P Here is a good video of them planting it, though, as it shows the transition. Pay attention at around 0:15 - the flag is stationary, then they start planting it and it starts waving, then you go back to the video I posted before and you can see that it stops waving. I suppose one could say that the wind coincidentally matched perfectly with the duration of time when they were planting the flag, and then immediately stopped after they finished planting it, but that seems like a rather unnecessarily complex explanation.

Ah yes. That's the video I was talking about. Looks like you're right.
The things that bug me are...I mean. I dunno...Why doesn't the lunar lander make a creator when it touches down? Why isn't there dust on it's legs in any of the clips? If it dropped down like that shoundn't it be covered in moon dust?? Also, there's a clip in which two astronauts are hopping around. If you speed it up something like 9x it just looks like two guys making idiots of themselves in real time.
Explain these things, or at least some of them, then I'll be 100% on the moon landing. At the moment I'm like 70%
The things that bug me are...I mean. I dunno...Why doesn't the lunar lander make a creator when it touches down?
SideSwipes
Because as the lunar lander descended, it went slower and slower as it reached the bottom. Think about how a car is parked - you don't slam on the emergency brake at the last second if you want a smooth stop that won't damage anything; you slowly ease it to a stop. Same thing here. By the time it landed, the pressure was quite minimal.

SideSwipes
There is no atmosphere on the moon. This is crucial, as it explains many things that people claim to be problems with the footage. The reason why things get dusty on Earth is because when dust is kicked up, it lingers in the air, and can cover what's around it. On the moon, however, it simply follows a parabolic arc and lands back down on the ground. See this video. This is actually extremely good proof that the footage is real: the dust in the footage behaves exactly as we would expect it to if there were no atmosphere, and we can't even create a vacuum studio today, let alone forty years ago.
Also, there's a clip in which two astronauts are hopping around. If you speed it up something like 9x it just looks like two guys making idiots of themselves in real time.
SideSwipes
That doesn't really prove anything. If I taped myself running and sped it up 2x, I'd look like Usain Bolt, but that doesn't imply anything about either my or Bolt's athletic ability. The fact that they look like they're making idiots of themselves is evidence of the fact that walking on the moon is more difficult than walking on Earth due to the lack of gravity planting oneself on the ground.

We're not worthy!! We're scum, WE'RE SCUM!!
Alright, I'm gonna say it wasn't fake. Good job!
i dont think there is enough herb on the planet to make a rational person think the moon landing was fake, that would take LSD, shrooms, or some other psychedelic drug15 people need to get off the happy weed.

I always wondered... if they planted a flag... can't we see it through a telescope? Wouldn't that be ample proof?SolidSnake35To see details that small you would need a telescope about 30 feet across. fortunately there is a telescope being built that will have a 80 foot area of light gathering power
