What debacle?

At any rate, I doubt we're going to colonize the moon, see, the water is on a part that receives no sunlight, so unless we develop an irrigation system and a way to unfreeze and filter the water, it's not going to be in the forseeable future whether or not the water will aide in colonization. Largely, it will provide for a historical overview of the moon and the space surrounding us.

Just because there is water doesn't mean it's in river or lake form. It's water within the moon's crust and dust.

People don't realize how difficult that is.. Not only do we still have to deal with stuff like solar flares that if position correctly would wipe otu every one on the moon.. But we have no real way of stopping the bone and muscle degeneration that is caused by extended periods of zero or low gravity environments.

Apparently, humans don't think the lunar surface is cratered enough.

So much for moon swimming.

Too bad its mising a ARMOSPHERE and a good level of GRAVITY... I guess the first one could be solved by importing oxygen and hoping no wierd side effects occour, but i dont know how to increase gravity lol :D

If we put people and bases on the Moon, wouldn't it's increase in mass affect the tides and eventually make it crash into the Earth?
