Indeed I quite enjoyed that. It's funny because I kind of got burned out on ambient/trance back in the late '90s when a lot of trip hop, trance, and various other soundscape electronic artists starting getting a lot more ethereal in their move towards ambient and it seemed a little oppressive after a while.
Now though I seem to be drawn back to it once again and after listening to Carbon Based Lifeforms I started listening to other bands associated with their sound like Solar Fields and AES Dana. I guess I just liken them to some modern composers that I've been getting back into that use pulsing soundwaves of music such as Giacinto Scelsi and Witold Lutoslawski although generated by entirely different means. Thanks again! :)

No problem.I enjoy listening to the various stuff you post too.You might like Boards of Canada if you like Carbon Based Lifeforms's type of Ambient music.Everytime I die by Children of bodom
The keyboard solo is so sweet and soft. It makes me want to hug some kittens. :D
