Killswitch Engage - My Last Serenade
Simply awesome.

Calyx - Get Myself To You
I like this. Calyx is kind of grimey (?) Drum'n'Bass dude. Songs share the distorted low bass.
I think "Get Myself To You" is the best of them. Of course the more heard "Follow The Leader" is good too.
"Follow The Leader" was the intro song in Midnight Club 3.
Prince - Sign O' The Times
Immense song really, probably Prince's most serious album up to ths point.
Fish Fry - Big Black
Been going through a Big Black phase again :D
I love the way Albini conjures up these truly horrible character studies, like in the song above. Combine that with the music and you get one hell of a band
The song is on YouTube if anyone wants to listen...
Here's a great Steve Albini interview.Fish Fry - Big Black

How do Rapeman and Shellac compare to Big Black? I need to get some of their albums

Rapeman will be hard to find, Shellac's good. Big Black is still the best.[QUOTE="zepman71"][QUOTE="Greatgone12"][QUOTE="zepman71"]Here's a great Steve Albini interview.Fish Fry - Big Black

Rapeman will be hard to find, Shellac's good. Big Black is still the best.I see
I'm still missing some of their EP's...I have Atomizer, Songs... and The Hammer Party...
BTW, have you seen 'that' Headache cover? I don't wanna look at it cuz I'm squeamish :P
M.I.A. - Kala.
I'm finally giving it a spin. And goddamn, M.I.A.'s cover of Jimmy Jimmy Aaja is amazing.
Thelonious Monster - Body and Soul
I wonder what the band would of sounded like if John Frusciante had went ahead and joined the band instead of joining the Chili Peppers. Cool band though.
Okay, I've finished listening to the album, but I'm going to listen to it a few more times before I pass final judgement. It's interesting and I dig it, but we'll see how much of that is due to the novelty of Western music that sounds distinctly South Asian.M.I.A. - Kala.

Darkness by Disturbed.
In an awesome note, I get to see Nine Inch Nails in concert, then four days later Disturbed, then two days after Disturbed, Metallica. I'm going to be deaf by the end, but it will be worth it.
Never been much of a Slayer fan, especially Raining Blood. It's too intense for me, I wish I could like them, but I just can't get into them.Raining blood by Slayer
One of the most intense songs ever written, imo. It's a great song to calm yourself down to. If you're ever feeling really angry then listen to this song. Works for me.

That music video is a modern classic. I really like "Everybody Get Dangerous" on the Red Album. It reminds me of hanging out with my friends, causing mischief :P"Pork and Beans" - Weezer
This song is so good. I don't know why I like it so much. Plus, the music video is fantastic.

Listening to Stockholm Syndrome(HAARP)- Muse
The live version has an incredible outro.
