unless we void their citizenship they will still be deported back here.It would be a good oppotunity for the U.S. to void there passports leaving them trapped in Norway.

To be honest...i want to see this...I heard something about Norway not having a law that would protect WBC from fredom of speech so i honestly want them to TRY to picket the funeral just so they can get the crap kicked out of them

We are but we have laws against demonstrations and speeches that's sole purpose is to abuse and spread hate against a group of people.shoot them all in the face apart from one and say they died for god or whatever it is these losers preach?
unless we void their citizenship they will still be deported back here. Unless something goes wrong with the paperwork, of course. I wish they could be deported here and sent to prison, as Norway's jails are a joke, but I don't know how it would work if their crime would be unconstitutional in the US. Would they have to serve it anyway?[QUOTE="tenaka2"]

Ah yes. That makes perfect sense.
Much more sense than implying that tolerance includes the tolerance of everything.Should a tolerant person tolerate violence, terrorism etc?
Not that those two are comparable to what the WBC is doing but it is obvious that tolerance has limits. And reasonably so. Where those limits are placed is debatable sometimes, of course.

Yeah that's kind of the point.
Thats why I said that sometimes where the limits are set is debatable.Just because violence and terrorism arent comparable to what the WBC is doing doesnt mean the second definitely has to be tolerated.

Dont ask me. I am not necessarily advocating that what the WBC is doing should be illegal.I just think they are being complete jerks, especially considering they are doing it at funerals.

thats a documentary on them, I feel so bad for the children, to be honest.

We never said we tolerate everything. We're a peace loving nation but if you piss us off then you really piss us off. :P
Let's see them protest at a Muslim funeral in Iran.
I'm sure Ahmadinejad will respect their rights as American Citizens and allow them to freely protest and then return to the US without issue.
;)

Depends on what slogans they use. WBC's typical anti-gay, anti-America signs aren't really the kind of things that I imagine would bother Iran's rulers. Throw in some 'God hates Israel' signs and it'd be a party.
