Seriously, the planet is way overpopulated and heading into a downward spiral of self destruction as more and more devloping nations enter the world and require more of already scare resources.

Why do you say that? At the present growth rate we'll probably reach it in 100 years.

Why would you want millions of people to die?

Well, it is gonna happen sooner or later since diseases thrive in high populations.

Overpopulation is a significant problem, which can only be temporarily solved by adapting technology to support humanity without exhausting natural resources. It's one of those large future issues that will never be explicitly focused on by any government.

No it's not look how much food we have in America or anywhere in Europe and other 1st world countries. We eat well, people have houses on 50acres of land.

Plus the 1st world country birth rates are so low that our population will see a steep decline in 20 years anyways so you won't have to worry about it.

It's not thinning our our population nearly as much as it has historically, though. Over the past 100-200 years our population has begun exploding.

Take all the deaths from all the wars since 1700 and that would be less then 200 million, completely unsignificant.

How many of those were global or nuclear? Plus if complete countries were crippled there would be far less infastructure for survivers, not to mention fallout etc. The Iraq war itself has 200 000+ deaths in total and that's a small war.

congratualtions, you need a birthrate of 2 to maintain a population in a society with no deciese murders, other deaths. so in all reality you need about a 3 birth rate to maintain a growing population.

Well, the way he's using it is as an insult, and the way this argument is headed, heated words are going to be exchanged. If he doesn't get consent now and keeps it, ferrari may be able to report him and get an advantage. Not to mention TC is a new user, so he's more prone to the ban hammer.

Wow once again, the food shortages are leading to drastically rising food cost incase tou hadn't noticed, as well to there higher cost they are packaged smaller now. Secondly the constraints on oil is killing our us economy with the price of gas raising over 70% over the last 4 years.

Lastly After another response from yourself absent of any factual evidence, I replied with a explanation to my previous statement.

Edit: The Us dollar has lost 41% of its value when compared to 2000, also I live in SLC.

Food prices are rising because of higher gas prices, Higher Gas prices doesn't equal overpopulation. It equals over usage of fossil Fuels, I hardly think that counts as any means of evidence, and yes I did provide you evidence on low birth rates, which if you took the time to look at you'd know we were in serious trouble.
