Why in the world do you want to bring back tyranny? If people aren't willing to fight for a cause it is not a worthy cause to fight. North Korea and China as being threats to America is hyperinflated. You shouldn't force 18 to 25 year olds enlist in the military. Nazi Germany and Italy in World War 2 had drafts before World War 2 and that did not make them win the war. Why do 18 to 25 years olds owe more to the country than 30+ year olds?
I believe the draft would be good. I would go but I'm too old, so you youngens can go protect me! Plus it would build up a young guy's self esteem and they would get to see the world for free!
Plus, with the threat of Iran, North Korea and China it would be a good idea.
Maybe Mccain, once elected, will put the draft back into place.
A draft would force people to consider the consequences of a war before they supported it.
How many people would have supported the war if they knew that they would either have to risk fighting in it themselves or send a friend/relative to fight?
