Weed or Cigarettes. Which is more injurious to Health?

Weed has no where near as many threats to the human body, the main issue is the laziness that weed creates,

Well, there's more than one kind of weed. Indica and Sativa are the two that are smoked, ruderalis is used for hemp because it sucks to smoke.

Indica will give you 'couch lock', which is where you want to get somewhere and be lazy. Sativa is more of a mental high without the body buzz, most people find with sativa that they don't feel lazy or spaced out as they do with indica.

And then of course there's the indica/sativa cross strains but we won't get into that.

Then one question : Why is weed illegal and smoking legal if smoking kills ?

Just read the thread, and I'm amazed on how dumb people can be. Weed doesn't do sh!t to you, and whoever thinks it makes you "rip your hair out and turn into the hulk and smash windows", is f*cking stupid, and I suggest going out and trying it. You have control over your self with weed.

The reason, like everyone else says is money, but to clarify that a bit, it is a combination of several industries that would lose a whole lot of money if Marijuana was made legal.

Hemp can be used to make rope, paper, and clothing. It's oil can be used to make plastics. Marijuana has been found to alleviate hundreds and hundreds symptoms from over 150 different ailments or diseases. It's mind altering effects are comparable to alcohol, but it is less damaging to the human body.

But, there are also industries like the prison industry, who would suffer very greatly from marijuana becoming legal. Over 90 % of the people in the United States Justice system, were caught with a small amount of marijuana (enough for personal use), and once you are in the system, things like probation, more severe punishments for second offenses, etc, make it really difficult to get out of the system.

Well, I would keep going, but I feel like that's enough ranting on one subject for right now.

Also, weed doesn't make people lazy. Lazy people (who smoke weed) use weed as an excuse to be lazy. There are TONS of lazy people that don't smoke, but if they did, Weed would be blamed. I know COUNTLESS people who smoke weed and live very productive and healthy lifestyles. Some are doctors, some are in law school, some are cops, and others work for the government... the point is, weed isn't the cause, just an excuse.Franklinstein

I agree. Weed makes it nice to sit around but it also makes it nice to do just about anything else. I usually smoked it when I was working outside. Building a shed, mowing the lawn, etc. I didn't feel the need to sit around all day like some (the lazy people).
