Weird Dreams (Fevers are fun)

Have you ever had the most wacky dreams that also come across as the creepiest? I remember around 8 years ago, when I was 12, I was sick at home with pnemonia, and I had a dream where I kept growing taller, and taller, and I couldn't stop myself, it felt like I lost complete control. Long story short I woke up in my moms room holding my head screaming....

Also when you are sick with a fever do you ever have really strange dreams that make you wake up sweaty, with a fear of closing your eyes to see the same images again. I sometime see images of odd textures, that would really make my skin crawl, but thinking about the it right now doesn't seem so creepy at all.

Sometimes when I'm sick I also tend to just lay in bed thinking, but sometimes my thoughts will enter a loophole where I can't continue on what I was thinking about, and the same thing continueously repeats itself, moving faster and faster, until I open my eyes.

Its weird what goes on in our minds with a little bit of medication, and fever...

Any thoughts or experiences OT?

I am the king of weird dreams, it's one of the things I'm known for, and they happen on normal nights.

One time I was sleeping in my dorm wihile my roommate was using his laptop and I had a dream that I was getting married to a plate of grilled chicken, and it ended up leaving me at the altar and I called out to it, and the next thing I know, my roommate said "what the hell did you just say?" apparently I said it out loud in my half asleep daze.

Another time I dreamt that Cap'n Crunch and a gang of ninja-pirates broke down my bedroom door, and grabbed me out of my bed and took me hostage as they abducted my room and flew it to Chuck E. Cheese's.

And before you ask those 2 happened in the same year, last year, when I was 24.

Yeah, a few months ago I was sick and I was having all sorts of disturbing and creepy dreams.

In one, my dad came back to life, but we were in the old west, and he was being a jerk.

In another, I was having a battle with something in a greenhouse and I cut my arm off with the Z-Sword.

And the worst of all, I was in a car with my sister, her husband, and my brother, and she was driving us down the highway. We got into this HUGE crash, and I was the only survivior, after that I crawled of the flaming wreckage and looked in horror. Then I woke up.

God, this happens all the time to me, but I've never been able to describe it.

I also hallucinate...odd things when feverish. Only one I can describe was when I imagined the Backstreet Boys were really tiny and racing in their tourbus along the stripes in my wallpaper, except it was such of the "weird texture" that they were moving really slowly. Then I imagined I could hold them in my hand and take them to the gigs so they wouldn't be late, but I get really nauseous and panicked while doing so, because I was afraid I would drop them and they'd fall forever through a crack.

All of this happening while I was wide-awake and staring at the wall.

I was a man from the south who is boarding a steam train in a great big station before a great war begins. Years later, I am now in a post apocalyptic wasteland strewn with the carcass of massive ships that have fallen from the sky. I am journeying through this wasteland with a companion while searching for salvageable supplies, most notably of all, ammunition. We are attacked by mercenaries and despite driving them off, my companion is now blind and we are dangerously low on ammunition. My companion and I come across a group of survivors taking refuge in the blown out husk of one of these ships. These survivors tell us that they are being stalked by some sort of marauders or raiders, the same that attacked us previously. At this point, some sort of alien beetle, about three feet tall, with jet pack and flamethrower, falls out of the sky and starts attacking me. I empty my remaining rounds into the alien to no effect. A woman from the group starts to limp away with a bullet in her leg and I give chase in hopes of pinning her to the ground and extracting the bullet because I have a feeling that despite knowing that this one bullet will kill the alien beetle, the woman will die from having a bullet dug out of her leg. Before I can catch up, two of the marauders appear. Not noticing me, I spring upon one and twist his neck, killing him. I am about to attack the next one when a group of scavengers led by a female war buddy appear and shoot him. I grab the marauders gun, a p90 submachine gun, and run back to the alien beetle. I get to the alien beetle who is still at the survivors site and disable him. Upon being disabled, the alien beetle shrinks and some how becomes jammed between two bullets in my p90s magazine. Knowing that I cant throw the magazine or gun away. I accept the knowledge that I will inevitably have to face off against this creature some other time. I turn to my blind friend and then......I wake up. Looking at my clock, I am informed two hours have passed.

I had a dream that HUGE lions were killing everyone. and I went to get a shotgun at a conveniencestore. And they ran out of nachos. and I shot people becuase i was mad.

Anyways, I tend to have trippy dreams.

I remember in a dream of mine I got bit by a rabid chipmunk and flipped out.

On a couple of occassions I have dreamt I was Claire Redfield (and I'm a guy...) and I was running around killing zombies.

I tend to have alot of zombie-related dreams actually, none of them scary either.

I also have had alot of dreams where I am back wandering around in a surreal and warped version of the neighborhood and house I grew up in. Best part is it is warped differently everytime.

For the past week I have been having a recuring nightmare about strawberries, not giant or alive strawberries, it's just a plain normal bowl of strawberries.
