I'm not quite sure if a Michael Jackson memorial should even be established (not because he was considered an 'abomination' to that church) but because it'll probably be a big joke to many people.

**** freedom of assembly, what about the right to privacy? What about the right of family members to mourn their loved ones without being harassed? These Westboro people are sick. It's not just funerals of homosexuals they protest at, they protested at the funerals of plane crash victims and victims of school shootings and harassed the families. If that's how they're going to use thier freedoms that this country grants thenthey don't deserve them. These people, these families, their deceased loved ones, did nothing wrong and yet these fanatics rally at their funerals and harass them just to get their self-righteous messages of hate across. It's the scummiest practice I've ever heard of and the ultimate abuse of one's freedoms, and I think it is infringing far enough on the families' privacy and rights that it should be banned. If they want to do it on a different day in a different town, fine, they can spew their self-righteous crap all they want and it's one thing, but to go around harassing innocent families during a time of grief just to make a political statement is the lowest of the low and a clear infringment of their right to privacy.

Too lazy, I saw a thread about it on OT ealier this week. Still, though, you haven't provided any links to any evidence that he is a pedophile or that his family supported that type of behavior, that's just the way you see things and you're passing that view off as truth.

Frankly, even if he did do it I don't think that's justification for protesting a funeral. That "church" (cult more like) gives a very, very, very (x a million) bad name to Christianity...I think they will get a rude awakening in the end personally. I don't agree with some of the things MJ did, but protesting at a funeral is ridiculous at best.

These are some of the most disgusting humans on earth, and it annoys me that they get away with this stuff. I'm not a violent person, but if MJ fans attacked these people, I'd be happy. I think they deserve it...Except the kids. The parents deserve another beating for brainwashing them.
