I've always been drawn to shape-shifting. Shape-shifting into another creature, such as a black wolf, has always captured my attention. If I could have any type of power, it would be to shape-shift.

I just love nature, and it would be nice not to have to worry about human issues.

i do too. especially fox pups. they're adorable.

Young animals are usually fuzzy and cute. But I prefer just the beautiful surroundings of nature, the tranquility, the fresh air, the sounds.

I would miss contact of humans without them looking down and being afraid if I were to shape-shift into a wolf or another animal. It would be a nice escape, but it would get quite lonesome. I would miss my boyfriend's touch, his wonderful voice. I would, however, escape in any form -- avian or mammal -- and to go somewhere that is tranquil and beautiful -- especially if it's at night.

i would go crazy if i had that power. one animal i'd love to be is a raccoon because they have apposable thumbs. i'd ruin my neighbor's yard.

i wouldn't miss it except for a few people. i'm autistic and i have never had a girlfriend. i dont' socialize well enough with people. and i sometimes wonder what would happen if i suddenly got changed for some odd reason. what am i going to do and where am i going to go.

I'm a very shy person, however, there's only one person I can talk to for hours without feeling shy at all. I would miss him very much if I were to change forms and unable to change back. I would love to have shape-shifting powers -- just as long as I would be able to shape-shift back into my original form at free will.

How could anyone not want to have that power? To sore across the skies or run through the forest. Hell, I play Gothic 3, and sometimes I just shape shift into an animal and wander about the beautiful forests, deserts or mountains.

theres nothing wrong with that. it's interesting to try nonhuman characters for once. more unique because it's something our society will never live up to.

That's what I love the most. To wonder what it would be like to soar across the skies, but I'm afraid of heights. If I could shape-shift, it may help me break that habit of being afraid. To run through the forest, well, I've always loved the forest, espcecially at night. It's so peaceful and wondrous, yet dark and never know what lurks around. Rarely are there books with a character or two who are nonhuman. Most books deal with what goes on in today's society, the past, or the future -- rarely will you see something in medieval times with fantasy mixed in play, I guess you could say.

what animals can you be?

Well, there are druid stones and potions that allow you to shape shift into specific animals, but you also have a spell that transforms you into whatever animal you point at. There are a wide variety (over a dozen) of animals you'd normally find in the wild, including mystical ones and ones that are unique to the series. I haven't tried the vulture yet though, its the only animal that can fly in the game.
Basically anything from tiny bugs to huge trolls or dinosaurs.
