You are going to burn in the toaster of doom for all eternity!!
Now someone get this heretic out of my sight.
He created marijuana... so making it illegal is like banning nature.-Misanthropic-God created Mandragora too. I guess God wanted us to all die.

He's a crafty devious bastard, isn't he?
[QUOTE="matthayter700"]Well, I know the bible condemns alcohol useZackariel
It condemns alcohol abuse. Even Jesus drank.
I don't know about that part, (I'm guessing it was the case, though... last supper?) but it says "do not get drunk with wine"; so, at the very least, they're saying not to drink to get drunk. So if Jesus ever got drunk off the wine, that's basically another case of the bible contradicting itself. He created marijuana... so making it illegal is like banning nature.-Misanthropic-He is testing your will - will you go against his rules and give in to your pleasure, or will you sumbit to god ;) You don't have to believe the above statement, but don't act as if making drugs a sin is some huge contradiction.
In Islam - don't do drugs. Middle East is known for it's extremely harsh drug laws.FamikingIt also has a long history as a drug culture. I mean opium and hasheesh are two of their primary exports, and hooka bars are common in most cities.

I do not indeed believe the above statement, as it was not out of broken will I initially tried marijuana. It was curiosity. Its in us all.

Probably the best example of an "Islamic" (more like just the Taliban's interest... meh, politicians will be politicians) state gone terribly wrong...

Will you satisfy the curiosity or submit to god then?[QUOTE="-Misanthropic-"][QUOTE="Famiking"] He is testing your will - will you go against his rules and give in to your pleasure, or will you sumbit to god ;) You don't have to believe the above statement, but don't act as if making drugs a sin is some huge contradiction.Famiking

Will you satisfy the curiosity or submit to god then? /gets in curiosity, what if gods not the thing we believe he is and end up having lived a crappy life huhhh? Will you satisfy the curiosity or submit to god then?FamikingI will submit to God, and satisfy my curiosity. As curiosity is not a sin.
[QUOTE="Famiking"] Will you satisfy the curiosity or submit to god then?-Misanthropic-I will submit to God, and satisfy my curiosity. As curiosity is not a sin. Some people are curious as to how it would feel to kill someone. Take the example of the 5 year old kid who killed his 2 year old sister (not sure if the ages are right) because he wanted to know how it would feel.
I'd say he'd be against it, since drugs of any kind, lower your free will. You are more likely to do things, and make different decisions high than when you aren't. And since it lowers your free will it lowers you as a human being looking in terms of your soul (intellect, free will) are apart of you. And since God created you perfect with ultimate free will, any thing that alters that makes you less human and changes the way he created you.ferrari2001
Lowering inhibitions sounds like increasing free will to me.
[QUOTE="-Misanthropic-"][QUOTE="Famiking"] Will you satisfy the curiosity or submit to god then?FamikingI will submit to God, and satisfy my curiosity. As curiosity is not a sin. Doing drugs is (okay, maybe not in christianity *shrugs*, but I'm just speaking in general).
Marijuana aint a sin either dude. Its also not addicting... where in the bible does it specifically mention smoking pot is a sin? Unless your a muslim, in which I know a limited amount of the Qur'An

Ah yes, but if you have harmful curious thoughts, it is a sin to act upon them.

Who, scientists? Who only came to the conclusion that aliens could possibly exist yesterday?
Or are you on about the people who run mental asylums? Because they know everything, don't they?

Have any studies?
You can easily go access the National Institute on Drug Abuse, which provides numerous links to studies on all of these criteria, and there are thosuands of articles floating around in the databases.Who, scientists?
