I saw Reggie Miller vs. The New York Knicks the other day on ESPN Ondemand and thought it was great.

Blue Chips. it shows the reality of the sports without tarnishing the passion for the game. Nick Nolte, who delivered his usual AAA performance, adds much more to the film.
Yes it's very goofy but hey...Dr. J. is a lead actor in it and you get to see all sorts of '70s era NBA superstars in action so it's kind of fun to watch.
He Got Game--- Ray Allen as "Jesus Shuttlesworth," Denzel Washington as his father, and directed by Spike Lee. Beautiful use of Aaron Copeland compositions throughout the movie...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpB2n25tDQs
Above the Rim--- Most notable for Tupac's great performance. Leon with another underrated performance.

Hoop Dreams--- one of the best documentaries of all-time
Space Jam--- Good kids movie
White Men Can't Jump--- Sydney Dean and Billy Hoyle make quite the combo.
Hoosiers--- CIassic. Gene Hackman as the bball coach. Great performance by Dennis Hopper...
The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh--- cult cIassic in the bball world
Teen Wolf--- Michael J. Fox is a werewolf that plays basketball. Goes without saying:lol:
Finding Forrester--- Great movie about the relationship between a star basketball player/student and a recluse neighbor/famous writer (played by Sean Connery). YTMND ("You're the man now dog") was named because of Sean Connery's line in this movie lol... http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=g_cBPc6VSaI
