haha, i gotta say though katherine heigel (i think that's her name) she's gorgeous.
[QUOTE="Pearl_of_Egypt"]but the movie that freaked me out most when I was a kid was IT. I was maybe 5 years old when I watched that, I got nightmares for a few years :?kozzy1234
haha, at least im not the only one :P
well it was a freaky movie, what with the scary clown and all. I was traumatized haha. then I watched it again when I was 12 with my friend and I saw it was barely scary at all. everything is freakier when you're a kid :P
Well in recent times I havent watched anything that has made me freak out as far as recent movies go.
Though that may have to do with me growing up watching alot of horror movies and series. Some of the the movies I saw when I was around 5-8 yrs. old were all four Jaws movies, Predator, Alien, It, Dracula (1930's version), Child's Play 1 & 2 and Lost Boys. Then there were some of the horror series I used to watch at around the same age, which included Dracula the series, Werewolf (1970s, I think), She-Wolf of London and some others I cant recall. Although those used to freak me out, especially since most of those came out at night and I would never miss an episode or movie, I usually sat though them and then quickly tried to forget what I had seen so I could get to sleep
nothing really scares me after playing silent hill.........................i agree that eraserhead was prety weird. firebreathing
Silent Hill is definitely a freaky game, but not as chilling as this:
*SPOILERS* alien scene from Signs. Much more scary while watching the movie :P

I honestly can't believe so many people got afraid of that scene. there was nothing creepy or scary about it. I dunno, maybe I just don't scare easy. I thought Signs was so boring. :S

I agree, when I watched the movie for the first time I couldn't stop laughing at that scene, especially when he starts to yell at the children in Spanish to move, that made me lol for a bit.
The squashed eyeball in Kill Bill 2, although it only lasted for a second or so. I did squirm inside when I thought about it the next day. Damn good film, BTW.
What exactly is Eraserhead? I've been hearing about it a lot around the internet.KLAX42
Is it a nightmare or an actual view of a post-apocalyptic world? Set in an industrial town in which giant machines are constantly working, spewing smoke, and making noise that is inescapable, Henry Spencer lives in a building that, like all the others, appears to be abandoned. The lights flicker on and off, he has bowls of water in his dresser drawers, and for his only diversion he watches and listens to the Lady in the Radiator sing about finding happiness in heaven. Henry has a girlfriend, Mary X, who has frequent spastic fits. Mary gives birth to Henry's child, a frightening looking mutant, which leads to the injection of all sorts of sexual imagery into the depressive and chaotic mix.

While The Shining is not the scariest movie I have ever seen, I fell asleep watching it once and had some of the most horrifying dreams I have ever had in my entire life.Thyeora
Didn't have that much of an effect on me, but it is quite unsettling towards the end. This was the only film that Shelly Duvall ever appeared in, and that seems justified given her performance here. Some scenes required over 100 takes because of her.
