What are some slang terms you wish would go away?

when people say mad. ex: this new xbox 360 was mad expensive. mad is an emotion, not something that means a lot. i hate hearing my friend say that. iam2green

I may be the only one with this problem, as I go to a school with a bunch of rich white kids who can afford the equipment, but I really wish the word Lax would go away. It's really not that hard to say Lacrosse, and since everyone in my school plays Lacrosse and 95% of them call it Lax, it just annoys the hell out of me.

I also just wish the whole "I'm from tha hood" thing would go away.

It's kind of slang, but I hate when on Myspace people say PC4PC! (Pic comment for pic comment) When I comment someone, I don't expect them to comment my pics back (unless they want to) and I hate when people comment my pics for a selfish incentive. It's stupid.

i just wish the N word would disappear. slang way and the original use. no good can come of it. i especially hate it in rap songs. lets write a song using that word and then get mad at white people for saying it. thats why i respect eminem

I agree, I hate the N word, it was a word used to degrade the blacks back when they were slaves and back when racisim was at its worst, yet black people call themselves that. It makes me mad how stupid some people can be, and if any person of any race says it, it is offensive, it just plain stupid. Also, I HATE when people type and text like idiots, when people say lol, g2g, rofl, r, u, and all that stuff it pisses me off. Is it that hard to type out what you want to say? It takes literally an extra 2 seconds people, plus it makes it seem like you are a child or something, type like a grown up.

I am a lacrosse player myself and I know exactly what you mean. I hate when kids say lets go lax, or lets play some lax. It's called lacrosse! Lax makes you sound like an idiot, lacrosse sounds ten times better. When kids are joking about it is fine but when they are serious about it is stupid.
