Well i sold my DS a while back, but maybe if the 3DS is backwards compatible then that is a possibility. Truth be told, the only reason I really lost interest in the game was because I no longer had any friends that played it like i did when I was in 7th and 8th grade (damn people growing up). My gengar was hungry for new dreams and I could not provide for it :(, so I had to let go. I think online functionality would help resolve this issue though, yes?

There's a gorgeous and very cute Asian at my school who is an avid gamer. All we talk about in art class is games actually. She had a crush on me for awhile (sat on my lap, mimicked my actions), but I had to shut her down with the fact that I have a girlfriend. She's the only one I've met IRL, but if she's any indication, girl gamers are awesome. Apparently, according to others at my school, she kicks ass at CoD too.

Most of the ones I met on Counter-Strike: Source don't take the game too seriously, but hot damn they know how to play. -.-
