I'm just wondering what my fellow OTers are doing right now. It is 150 here in NC and just curious what time it is where you live and what are you thinking about at the moment? ahhh, i feel ya. can't say i've nver done it. it is what college is about!! sometimes... And back on the Burn Notice... I don't watch a lot of TV but this is the one show that can get me hooked and have me watching the whole season.
It's 11:20 here in California. I just came back from celebrating my 19th birthday. Went to the Jay Leno show, followed by some bowling. :Dremmbermytitans

Aside from posting on Gamespot, I am feebly attempting to teach myself how to draw in Photoshop, with a mouse. Surprisingly, I am doing better than I assumed I was capable of.

Oooh I used to do that before I bought the tablet. Just zoom in and out a LOT. and do it slow. I find practicing writing in cursive always helps (both with tablet and mouse) in regards to getting control of things. The detail and pressure will not be the same as it would if you had a tablet... but you can still make some pretty awesome stuff! Let me know if you need any more tips.

Yeah, I've been using Photoshop forever now and am pretty proficient with a mouse but when it comes to actually drawing something from scratch my talent is all but worthless. My sister has been doing digital art (mostly western cartoon Nickelodeon fanart stuff, but I'd be damned if I could distinguish the difference between it and the shows) for some time now and I've watched her enough that I wanted to try my hand at it to see what I was capable of. After doing a pencil sketch that I thought was beyond my proficiency with a writing utensil I have surprised myself even more in PS with a terribly low dpi mouse.
Considering what I've already done, I think I might just be able to develop it into something more. But that requires a lot of time and patience. I've got the patience but not really the time.
