Black coffee...ran out of creamer

I always wondered if these variants of black tea actually make a difference with respect to taste. I mean variants like "English Breakfast" and this Scottish breakfast tea you're drinking. I'd figure black tea tastes like, you know, black tea.
English, Irish, and Scottish Breakfast all taste progressively richer and more malty, at least among the brands I've tried, so there's a noticeable difference, at least from my end. I've only had this brand of Scottish, so no way to compare other possible brands, but different brands of English taste similar among brands, as do the Irish.

I'm intrigued as I love tea and generally speaking I love sharp, malty and intense flavors be it of tea or other "brewable" beverages if that makes any sense to you. That's basically why I refuse to adulterate the flavor by sugar, creamers or anything of the sort.
I'll keep an eye on the teas section next time I'm at the supermarket. I know we have different brands of English Breakfast but maybe we also have Irish/Scottish varieties too. Maybe I'll pick up something if its not too expensive.
